Nezwaah facts

A daughter of top stallion Dubawi, this Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum homebred was a good looking filly with a lovely nature to match.

Unraced as a two year old she made her debut in the January of her three year old career a winning one when scoring as the odds-on favourite at Chelmsford.

The following month at Wolverhampton she again collected the money and as the season progressed she added two placed efforts and one win at Listed level to her CV. Nezwaah signed off her three year old campaign with an unlucky-in-running seventh in the Woodbine E.P Taylor Stakes, a Group 1 race in Canada.

Nezwaah built on the promise of her three year old campaign when she returned to the track as a four year old.

The Listed Rothesay Stakes, run at Ayr, which she won at a canter merely served as a warm up for the next start which was to be the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes run at the Curragh.

Ridden by her regular jockey Andrea Atzeni, Nezwaah was sublime as she travelled with ease throughout, quickening impressively when asked and at the line she had over three lengths to spare from the field.

A beautiful mover with a top-class pedigree, Nezwaah retired to stud as the winner of five races.
